A Heartfelt Thank You to the Anderson Community: You Made Our Easter Egg Hunt for a Cause Truly Special

As a local Realtor here in Anderson, South Carolina, I’ve always believed that community is everything. My wife and I recently had the privilege of experiencing just how generous, compassionate, and connected our Anderson community truly is—and we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you.

This Easter, Locke and Key Associates hosted a community-wide Easter Egg Hunt to benefit a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts: the Cancer Association of Anderson. What started as a small idea quickly turned into something beautiful thanks to YOU—our friends, neighbors, clients, and community partners.

Over 2,000 Easter Eggs and 50 Smiling Children

Thanks to your incredible support, we were able to hide **more than 2,000 colorful eggs** across the event space, creating a magical morning for around **50 children** and their families. Parents, grandparents, and community members joined in the fun, filling the area with smiles, laughter, and plenty of Easter spirit.

The joy on the kids’ faces as they dashed across the lawn hunting for eggs reminded us why events like these matter. They’re not just fun—they bring people together and remind us of the power of unity and giving back.

A Community That Gave Big

We are so moved by the outpouring of support. From donating pre-filled eggs and helping us organize the event, to showing up early to set up or simply spreading the word, this truly was a group effort. Your time, talents, and generosity made all the difference.

We’d also like to thank the volunteers who helped keep things running smoothly, the families who brought their little ones to participate, and everyone who made a donation to support the Cancer Association of Anderson. Your involvement helps provide crucial support services to individuals and families facing cancer in our local community.
